Peach Updates

We are looking forward to a great crop in 2025.

For peaches to set a bountiful crop, they must receive "chill hours" during the winter months of December, January, & February. Chill hours consist of 45 degrees & below. Although December was mild, January has made up for it in a big way. Currently we have over 300 hours, with 800 being ideal. We welcome the cold weather they have forecasted for the rest of the month.

The Fruit

Our family's 80 acre Hill Country orchard is located in Stonewall, TX. Along with peaches, we also harvest apricots, plums, figs, apples, pears, & pecans.

The Duecker Family

 Burg's Corner is family owned, grown, and operated by the Duecker family. We have been in the peach business since the 1950's and run 3 generation deep. Our family strives to grow the best peaches possible, brought from our farm to your family's table.
