The 2025 Peach crop is nearing, and we expect our 1st peaches to be out mid-late May. We can't wait!
Unfortunately, we won't have the bumper crop we originally were hoping for. However, some of our varieties set well and are very promising... Others not so much.
What happened... Although most of the trees initially set a good amount of fruit, we are now finding many of the small peaches are not growing and have started falling off. We attribute this to inconsistent weather this Winter & Spring. They would have fared better with consistent cold and wet weather. The Spring rains have been a blessing but with our severe drought status the trees are still very stressed. We pray for rainfall to continue through May to help the health of our trees and to provide those large sized sought-after peaches.
We look forward to providing you & your family with the oh-so-sweet Texas Hill Country peaches this summer! As always, we suggest you call before making a trip.
